After he secured his boat with a rope and got out, he started looking around. There was a small building in front of him and a path on its left that seemed to lead to another, larger house behind it. He was following the path when he heard a voice coming from the small building on his right. “Oletko kunnossa?”
On the balcony stood a young man, he seemed to have thrown a towel around his hips in a rush before stepping out of the, what Sirius now realised to be a Sauna, sweat still dripping from what seemed like every pore of his body. He froze for a second, whoever this was had to be the most beautiful human being he had ever laid his eyes on. His hair was not longer than a few millimetres at most, he had three big scars reaching across his face, the middle one of them splitting his right eyebrow in half and the body of a Greek god reincarnated.
It took Sirius a hot second to register that he was being spoken to in a language he did not speak. “Sorry, I don’t– I don’t speak Finnish”

"Do you believe in fate, Remus?"
He stilled for a moment, fate, destiny. The existence of fate always indicated a kind of inevitability to him, that he had no chance to influence his own life in any way, that it was entirely out of his control. He didn't believe in anything per se, he just hoped for certain things. In the case of fate, he deeply hoped that it wasn't true.
"No, I don't" he said, calmly, tiredly, into the night.
