Summary
Chenle jerks back, spitting, half-coughing, half-shouting. “What the fuck?” he says, voice pure panic, but before he can really get his bearings, Jisung has his hands up, apologizing, words falling out of his mouth faster than he can shape them.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I don’t know, I just—fuck, I’m sorry—”
Chenle wipes at his mouth with the back of his hand, chest heaving. He looks furious. He swings a fist at Jisung’s stomach, hard enough to make him double over, and Jisung gasps and drops to his knees, still mumbling apologies, head spinning with the aftershock.
“I’ll kill you,” Chenle says, voice ragged. “I’ll actually fucking kill you.”
Jisung's kind of obsessed with his roommate.

Summary
His next words brush past his lips in a quiet whisper. The road is barren, empty so that the sun that beams over their heads is the only presence privy to their conversation, and yet Jisung chooses to mutter the words so silently, he may not have even said them aloud at all. A jumble of syllables between an inhale and an exhale, too airy to conceptualize as a coherent string of words.
“Because Chenle is dead, isn’t he?”
On December 20th, 200X, 20 year old Zhong Chenle disappears between the thick, snow-ridden groves at the base of a mountain near his hometown. He returns a month later, completely unharmed and a centimeter taller, with gaps in his memory that leave any questions regarding his whereabouts unanswered.
Something has changed, though. And Park Jisung can only let so many subtle differences quietly pass by until he has to confront the truth:
That maybe, just maybe, his best friend never made it down from that mountain after all. Not completely, at least.

Summary
At 22, Jisung thinks that he still fails to have a grip on his love like he thought he would. Where it was infatuation due to co-existence or a genuine longing for physical touch perhaps? Even as he aged, it was hard to tell between the two. Blame Lee Jeno.
or: periods in jisung's life where he wrote letters to chenle.
