Ghost’s eyes widen for a fraction of a second before he looks away, unable to meet Johnny’s eyes. Soap can see his jaw contract, but he doesn’t move otherwise, he doesn’t say anything, doesn’t confirm or deny. Soap doesn’t need more, Ghost’s reaction is as good as words.
“Fuck, sir,” Johnny swears, letting it slip under his breath.
