Summary
Long before the five Beasts, and even longer before the five Ancients, was just one cookie. One cookie who harnessed it all, a god amongst gods, almost rivaled to a witches’ full power. Resolution and Apathy, Abundance and Destruction, Truth and Deceit, Passion and Sloth, Freedom and Silence. This was a grave mistake. One cookie was not meant to be made with so much power, and it inevitably broke them. The witches, too cruel to crumble their first son, instead sealed him away for eternity, making a new batch of cookies to harness their power separately. And then that failed, and they turned to Beasts, blah blah blah, boring. You’re awake again, and you have a long-festering desire for revenge, to unleash the truth of the witches, and to turn the entire world into a desolate wasteland, so no more cookies would have to bear the sins thrust upon you.
Except you don’t remember any of it.
So now, a seemingly ordinary cookie has woken from eternal slumber, with the power of gods, and zero recollection of his past prowess. What a conundrum.
