Summary
On the eve of their first Distinguished Innovators Competition, Jayce and Viktor deal with their nerves by kissing and, subsequently, falling into bed together. Never truly speaking about it, they both form completely different opinions on the night’s events and keep sleeping together. Jayce thinks they are dating and taking things slow. Viktor thinks they are friends with benefits and that Jayce could never want more.

Viktor chokes on air and looks Jayce in the eye again, incredulous.
“What?”
“You said you doubt there's anything anyone can do. I said: wanna bet?” Jayce repeats, a smirk slowly blooming on his plush mouth.
“I—I don't—what are you even suggesting?” Viktor asks, and his voice turns into a whisper by the end. Because there's no way that Jayce is actually—
“Wanna bet that I'll be able to make you come, over and over again?” Jayce licks his lips as he says it and Viktor feels his mouth open in a little O. He's too stunned to close it.
“I, eh—” but he stops there, because what the hell does he even say to that? This is insane. Patently insane. Can't Jayce see that?

The one where Jayce bets Viktor, who struggles with orgasms with all his sexual partners, that he can make him come. Multiple times. Just platonically, of course. Just for fun!

“You can keep going. If you, ah, if you want.” Jayce interrupts, and Viktor freezes.
What?
“It can help. With the pain, right? I've—I've read about it.” Jayce whispers. Viktor tries to take a deep breath, but fails miserably.
“I-huh?” Viktor isn't quite sure what to say, because he's not at all sure what they're talking about in the first place.
“You're saying... What are you saying?” Viktor asks, and Jayce shrugs a little, way too nonchalant.
“You can keep going. Get yourself off. I don't—I don't mind.” He whispers, and Viktor can't believe his ears.
He must be dreaming. Yeah, that must be it. Because there's no other explanation for Jayce offering him to—to—
But that's when Jayce's hand slips lower on Viktor's back and presses down, gentle but firm. Viktor hisses as the movement forces his swollen folds to rub against Jayce's thigh once again.
OR
Viktor and Jayce are locked in the lab and have to spend the night. Viktor is in a lot of pain. Jayce finds several ways to relieve it and changes their relationship forever.

Viktor isn't exactly sure what had set things into motion.
One moment he had been standing in front of the chalkboard, absorbed in the calculations, his mind racing through the final steps of their latest breakthrough that had felt like the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders. The next, he was being tugged forward by a grinning, triumphant Jayce. Expecting to be hugged, he had went easily, only to be met with strong hands clasping his jaw and a firm, warm mouth pressed enthusiastically against his own.
Stupefied, Viktor had stood there in stunned silence, mouth slack and thoughts scattered into pieces.
