    Izuku had always been told he wasn’t funny, but watching the blood drain from the detective’s face before he buried his head in his hands, had not been the reaction he’d expected.

    “I-“ the man sighed, looking as though he’d aged twenty years in the space of one joke. “Midoriya. I was just about to tell you, as I am legally obligated to, that my quirk is lie detector. I can tell when people lie.”

    He has to get that letter back.
