He hadn’t told Rozanov, why would he? They’d exchanged their usual quips in the days leading up to the game, riffing about who would win, how many goals they’d score. But underlying it all was the knowledge that they’d end the night in each other’s arms. Shane refused to admit it, but that might have been part of the reason he was so determined not to get sick. If it was any other game, any other team… It had been four months since he’d seen Rozanov. “New barista?” asked a low voice, and Sanji yelped, dropping the metal can in his hand. It landed on the ground with a clank, spilling milk foam all over the floor. Red-faced, he stammered apologies to the man who had snuck up on him and looked around for napkins.
“I got it,” the man said, opening a cupboard and taking out a roll of paper towels. He pulled back when Sanji reached for it to clean up the mess. Sanji’s fingers chased after the towels until he was standing inches away from an extremely handsome man. Green hair, three golden earrings, grey eyes, an amused, lopsided smirk ghosting over his lips.
