“Scoot over,” he says.
Raphael sighs, but wisely doesn’t fight it. He shifts to the left side of his bed and watches with hooded eyes as Simon makes himself comfortable next to him.
Simon rolls up the sleeve on his left arm.
“Simon,” Raphael says and he sounds drained. Bad day indeed.
“Don’t even bother. You’re worse today.” He holds up his arm to Raphael’s mouth. “C’mon.”
The sting of Raphael’s teeth sinking into his arm is familiar and the pain fades quickly, giving way to something warm and swirling that takes root deep inside him. He smiles because Raphael didn’t put up as much of a fight as he normally does. He lets his eyes flutter to a close and then he floats. He can feel each place Raphael aches and the bloodlust that is being sated. It’s a heady feeling.

“Dios,” He whispers to himself, rubbing his face, but it doesn’t take away the absurd thought that’s crossed his mind. He types back a reply eventually and then rolls onto his back to stare at the ceiling. In the dark, the shape of coffee brown iris’ and plush pink lips smiling form. Raphael rolls over with a frustrated growl and grabs up his phone again sending the texts quickly before he can change his mind.
