Summary
Stephanie Brown may not have haled from a circus, or attended galas since she could walk, but she was a performer nonetheless. She’d smile with her blessedly straight teeth, maintain eye contact in a way that gives the appearance of rapt attention given. For years, since Stephanie could remember, the facade worked. No one batted an eye at the girl with blinding light inside her.
Only, that light inside of her wasn’t happiness or unbridled innocence; it was righteous anger, and a downright obsession with currently unfounded justice. And the family is catching on. Stephanie may not transform the light inside her into something good, but maybe, just maybe, the light won’t diminish entirely by the end of it all.

Anakt High all knew of Mizi. In fact, they knew many things of her, from how she was the captain of the cheerteam to how she treated (almost) everyone like a close friend.
It was hard to miss her when she walked down the halls, greeting everyone she saw—yet what was even harder to miss was how she greeted just one particular girl extra hard.

Except their relationship ran far deeper than just a simple friendship. Deeper than what anyone at their school would expect, really. Mizi was quite content with this, of course, their intimate encounters becoming more routine than anything else. If Damian comes back to the League of Shadows, if he obeys and does his duty as heir, if he kills enough people, if he becomes more and more of who his Grandfather wants him to be, then maybe, just maybe, his brother can return to him. And once he does... well, kidnapping the rest of his family with Dick to give them the life they deserve is just a perfectly reasonable consequence.
