Summary
There's a chance that Jaemin will never reach out, never offer Jeno the branch he needs to let go, and maybe Jeno will just have to keep those feelings to himself, to ache with it the way Renjun does, to simmer with it until he either burns from the inside out and gives in or fizzles out and gives up.
It's a perverse sort of wish, one that leads him to wonder how and when he's become such a selfish person, and in the end it doesn't matter. Jaemin makes the first move. Jeno won't have to agonize the way Renjun has.
Jaemin kisses him that night while Renjun is upstairs puking his guts out in the porcelain bowl.

Summary
Donghyuck is pretty sure he’s been in love with Renjun since they met. For the most part, he plays it cool—which really means flirting endlessly, then passing it off as a joke when Renjun sighs, or shakes his head, or rolls his eyes at him.
Then he learns that Renjun has his eye on someone else, might even have been in love with them for years, and Donghyuck’s world goes up in flames.
(In which Donghyuck is Renjun’s “someone else.” He would realize this if he stopped running long enough to look around.)

Summary
In which Renjun lives his life believing that he and Donghyuck will never fit, and Donghyuck is devoted to making sure he has a place in Renjun's life, in sickness and in health, and in Renjun's adoration and Donghyuck's madness.
("Donghyuck is honest," Chenle tells him and Renjun nods. He knows this - underneath all of the ridiculous declarations of love Donghyuck palms off to all of his friends, Donghyuck is honest. "But he's also really good at lying." Renjun knows this as well - Donghyuck is masterful at performing, he would lay down his life to pretend that he has everything under control.
Renjun laughs to try and lighten the mood but Chenle stares him down, "He's too much sometimes, he says shit that he doesn't mean and then bares his heart the next and it's confusing."
Renjun knows that one a bit too well.
