Ask anyone a question containing the words “Will” and “love,” and they’d guess that he loves quietly, gracefully; that he’d bunch a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a box of chocolates in the other, extending both of them out toward the object of his affections with a soft smile.
They are wrong.
Because Will loves Strohl – he’s said so many, many times at this point, and Strohl would be a fool not to just believe him already – and this? This is not, by any meaning of the word, quiet.
The clemars are a mighty tribe, commanding respect. The clemars are stuck in their ways, blindly following tradition. Strohl is a clemar, and while he’ll never be the one to fling insults on the basis of one’s tribe, sometimes he can’t help but think it would’ve been better if he wasn’t. For Will.

Summary
Strohl takes Maria shopping and gets a little more than he bargained for.
“Mister, when are you and Uncle Leon getting married?” Maria asked.
At once, three things happened: Fabienne let out the sharpest cackle Strohl had ever heard, Will’s famously unshakeable composure vanished in an instant, and the color drained from his face just as burning heat shot straight up to Strohl’s cheeks.

Summary
The problem wasn't that Will was Strohl's soulmate, no. Strohl was over the moon to know that his dearest friend was his destiny– though he'd known that from the moment that they'd shook hands.
The problem was that Will didn't seem to know that Strohl was his soulmate at all. The misfortune never seemed to end, in his case– was he truly part of a one-sided bond? Or did Will simply not want him…?
No matter. Strohl would do his best to try and seduce him regardless.

Summary
Understanding people is something Alastor is not always skilled at. But while people can be challenging- their possessions are much easier to understand.
And so he collects. In his little nest of a bed in which he dwells, tucked into the corner of his room at the Hotel- that is where his collection lays. And because Charlie makes it a point to enforce the good manners of respecting one’s privacy- and likely because everyone is just a little scared of him- no one ever looks in his rooms. His collection is a secret kept only by himself.
It’s not a problem. He could stop any time, if he so wished.
But why would he stop when the taking is so much fun?
Or: In which Alastor is a creepy little fuck and steals trivial possessions of those he cares about. No one notices, until Lucifer does.
