Summary
To those who don’t know any better, Concordia, Georgia is just a town.
A quaint little town, with quaint little people, just a bit far down the road for folks to visit on the regular. It has its own school, has its own hospital, even has its own movie theater. It looks picture-perfect from the outside, and those from out of town never hear otherwise about it.

He kept his eyes on the bartender, wary for any sudden movement. “You’re observant.”
Seemingly unaware of his patron’s change in demeanor, the man shrugged. “Places I’ve worked, we get a lot of war vets. Paranoid types. They don’t seem to have a lot of credits to their name, either.”
It was a deflection as much as Cal’s own statement had been, but he relaxed all the same. Whatever he might know or suspect, the bartender clearly wasn’t angling for a fight. Besides, he supposed he fit the description of ‘paranoid war vet’.
Not that he could tell the man that, of course.
(or, two Jedi survivors walk into a bar. What happens next may just surprise both of them.)
