Summary
Jazz and Prowl exchange a strange look, something that makes Megatron want to strangle them because he can’t decipher what it is. He pushes back the suspicion that they’ve caught onto his situation; it would be impossible for them to know. There is nothing different about Prime’s frame or processor from when Ratchet had scanned him during his forced berth rest. They cannot know about him.
“If you need an extended leave, don’t refrain from requesting it,” Prowl says after a small pause. “That was quite a blow to the helm you took.”
“A measly blow to the helm won’t deter me in the slightest,” Megatron snaps before he can think better. When he does think better, he reiterates to a wide-eyed Prowl, “that is, my helm is more than capable of taking a hit.”
Jazz laughs at that. It sounds strained.
“Sure,” he agrees, “yeah, sure. Hey, how many digits am I holding up?”

Over the years the Avengers have made a few attempts to recruit Spider-Man to their ranks only to receive a resounding no each time. With Public intrigue growing again it's time for their next try, the only problem with that, Spider-Man is resolutely ignoring their calls. So they call in an outside man to get Spider-Man into a meeting room.
And while most their hopes get dashed the moment the X-Men send them Deadpool for help, Tony has a simply solution.
See as a personal project for himself he hired a photographer, specifically Spider-Man's old photographer Peter Parker. Who just so happens to be in the room when Deadpool shows up.
With Peter's old relationship with Spider-Man and Deadpool's tracking(stalking) skills they'd make a great Spider-Wrangling team.[Or: Peter and Wade are hired to bring in Spider-Man, which works out about as well as you think it will for Peter.]

“He’s so dreamy,” Gwen sighed, and Peter’s brow furrowed.
“Deadpool?”
“Yeah,” Gwen said.

That must be it – he's blood-dizzy and zoned out on adrenaline, and at the first pass of needle through skin he makes a noise – thick, needy, drawn out. Fingers gripping at the couch cushions until the fabric tears beneath them.
“Hnn… hah.”
“Sorry, Pete, I–” Cutting himself off mid-apology, Wade suddenly looks up at him, and Peter can tell he's making a face even with the mask on. There's a pause. For a second it feels like Wade is staring a hole straight into his stupid, slow brain. Peter's breath comes out hot, heavy, shaky. Then, slowly, with realization: “That wasn't from pain.”
Shaking his head weakly, Peter presses his free hand over his eyes and squeezes at his temples, humiliated. “Sorry,” he mumbles, “I can do it myself if you want.”

At-home stitches gone sexual SOMEHOW, Peter's a freak and so is Wade (but we all knew that), and once again tagging a fic has made me self-reflect.

“This can’t be happening." Kim clears his throat.
“You are clearly going through… something. But I would appreciate it if we could focus on the case for the moment.”
“Oh my god,” you say. “We did it already, Kim, but for some reason I’m the only one who remembers! This is some—some cosmic joke from the universe, I’ll tell you that.”
“Okay,” Kim says, slowly. “I’m going to give you a moment while I talk to the manager. You’re going to sit down and sort out whatever it is you’re doing. And then we’re going to take down that corpse.”

Vortex has gotten really good at getting secrets out of mechs. He's been doing it for a long time. It's a calling, really, opening a mech up and getting that core of truth out of them even when they'll say just about anything to make it stop. You really gotta dig deep, sometimes all the way down to their primary motivators.
Everyone's always told First Aid that he has a firm hand and a good berthside manner. He doesn't expect to have to apply it so literally.
