Climate change was conspiring to make Song Lan and Xue Yang's lives as difficult as possible. Not only had temperatures risen from ‘pleasant spring t-shirt weather’ to ‘hot as satan’s sweaty balls’ right before finals, to add insult to injury, their unfairly hot, unfairly oblivious new flatmate walked around the apartment in nothing but hotpants and an oversized t-shirt that kept slipping off to reveal an entirely to biteable collar bone.
