Summary

On his return from the unemployment office on his lunch break, he spots a woman leaving a baby on a doorstep. “No,” Rozanov said decisively. Shane felt his heart shatter as the other man flicked his cigarette dismissively. “I do not have a soulmate.”
Oh. Shane sat in stunned silence for a few moments, his glass of vodka frozen in midair, halfway to his lips.
