Summary
His raging fire is out. It leaves a blackened stain in his chest, and he feels the oxygen seep into his fresh burns to continue that same scorching pain inside. The gray of the ash covers the clean slate he once offered to someone for the future. His words continue to mean nothing. They continue to fall on deaf ears, and all he receives in return is a mask to wear for the sake of reputation.
“I’m sorry, sir, I forgot to ask for the name of the reservation.”
The train arrives. Yuki watches the other civilians board with friends or by themselves, some with luggage and some without. They all have different lives they continue to live. As the moon settles into the sky, these people head home to rest, so they can journey forward the next day. But Yuki remains unmoving on the bench, opting to observe others — just like back then, when he peered through the window of that dark, dark room.
“Um, sir?”
“I’m sorry,” he apologizes. “I think… Let me think about it more.”

Yuki fought with his mother. He doesn’t know where to draw the line. After missing the train with nowhere else to go, he arrives at the main house. And Akito helps as best as she can.

She whirls around and comes face to face with 'the prince'. The rumoured senior who had been proclaimed as the most beautiful boy of the school. She had seen him first through the windows, surrounded by people smiling gently, as the girls around her talked about how perfect and charming he looked.
The prince with a lonely smile.
But now close up from here, she could see how mussed his hair was and the tie he wore looked crooked. Prince? Was she sure he was one?
...
Finding eachother and falling in love was not something they thought was possible for them. But as the seasons passed by, it became easier. Yuki and Machi - and few moments of them being together.

Summary
The Curse has broken, and Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki and the rest of 3-D are gearing up for their final Culture Fest. Everyone is excited to make some memories and come together as a class one last time; even Kyo is trying to put on a smile and go along with everything the class decides, to a point. However, it's Yuki who's struggling to remain cheerful as he looks around and realizes just what it means to be Kaibara High's reigning Prince, and what it's always meant for those who care about him.
