Summary
This series will consist of a story for each aspect of D&D Ability Checks and Saves. I've got them all planned out and each story will dive into what it may have been like if an ability check or saving throw needed to happen.
I don't know, I thought it'd be fun.
Some stories will have a common thread of a plot, and should be posted in order. I'm still learning AO3 so I'm not even sure if I could fix it if need be.
RATINGS WILL FLUCTUATE from TEEN to EXPLICIT so... take that for what you will.

Summary
Vex absolutely drinks up the look in Percy’s eyes as they skim down of their own accord before vaulting back up to meet hers.
He’s exasperated and ruffled and turning red as she takes him in (taking her in), which is a delight of its own.
“I,” he says, with a bit of a squeak as he gapes. No noise comes out. He gulps and tries again: “I have plans, Vex’ahlia.”--
Vex'ahlia has returned, triumphant, from the trial imposed by Pelor. Percy is more than happy to make up for lost time and spoil her rotten - even if she's got more energy than expected.
Technically set in my AU, but not actually all that relevant here? Works as post Grey Hunt smut.Series

Summary
Percy goes to sleep in Whitestone one ordinary night and wakes up in modern-day NYC, surrounded by people who think he is someone else. He takes it about as well as you'd expect.
But Percy knows who he is: a retired adventurer, a father, a husband. You can't make that stuff up.
Right?

Summary
Vex wakes one morning to find Percy missing and upon investigating, finds that her entire reality has changed over night, all of it seemingly stemming from one fateful moment below the castle in Whitestone that happened a little differently then she remembers.

Summary
“Take me instead,” he spits - he has to spit the words or he’ll choke, and he can’t, he can’t - “you raven bitch.”
He thinks it’s a hand, reaching out towards him.
No. Past him, down, to Vex.
“Fate-touched,” she whispers, “you will not deny the girl her destiny. Neither will I.”
--
In which an 11 is not enough to persuade the Matron of Ravens, who finds Vex'ahlia a fitting Champion instead.
Will follow the Conclave arc with changes rippling outward from this change in role impacting characters, relationships, the gods - but not fate, no. The tapestry is too finely woven for that.
