Summary
After dying peacefully as the Pirate King in a liberated world, Luffy wakes up 17 again. Confused but thrilled, he's kicked out of an orphanage and immediately "adopted" by Buggy, who declares him a "gold mine" (but secretly adores the chaotic kid).

Summary
Remember how our little Luffy used to beg Shanks to let him join his crew? Well... what if he did? Luffy sure is excited! Even though he was let in as punishment for being a stowaway. Shanks said that maybe Luffy should see firsthand why he isn't ready to be a pirate yet. But Luffy couldn't help being excited! That was... until he gets kidnapped by a goofy ahh clown who wanted to kidnap him as "revenge" against Shanks. Little did Luffy know, this would spiral off into a rather tiring set of events where Luffy is unintentionally tasked with fixing Shanks's and Buggy's relationship in order to stop the annoying back and forth between them where Luffy is yanked back and forth by the two pirate captains as they argue with each other over a past Luffy had no clue about. And at the ripe age of 15. Good luck, joyboy!

“I do well for myself,” said Bucky, a pleased flush on his cheeks.
“I’m sure you do.”
“And what about you?” he prompted. “Handsome guy like yourself. You probably hafta beat the ladies off with a stick.”
Sam’s smile didn’t fall, but it became a little smaller. He glanced at the shield propped up beside him; all red, white, and blue, stars and stripes. “I don’t really… I’ve got a lot going on,” he said.*
1943. Bucky Barnes has recently shipped out, when he suddenly finds himself transported to a future where his current best friend is gone, he is (somehow) still alive, and the handsome man who found him can't quite look at him without heartbreak in his eyes.

Summary
A largely slice of life Avengers au featuring Sam Wilson, Joaquín Torres, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Clint Barton, Kate Bishop, Billy Maximoff/Kaplan, Carol Danvers, and Kamala Khan. This fic universe is going to be mostly fluff and shenanigans, but some whump will probably make an appearance here and there as I do love a good whumpfic. Other characters may end up making appearances as well, but the aforementioned are going to be the main players. Enjoy!
Note: the events of Thunderbolts* do still happen in this au, but they do not rebrand to be the New Avengers and instead remain the Thunderbolts. That way Bucky and Yelena can still help out with Sam's team.
