    Febuwhump Day 20: Betrayal

    "You can’t trick me anymore, Quentin," he called out, eyes darting around the room for any sense of reality. This was like nothing he had ever faced before and it was having an effect on his Spidey Sense.

    "Who said anything about tricks?" A voice seemed to echo everywhere around him.

    "I trusted you, Beck!" Peter painfully admitted, the betrayal in his voice heavily evident. 

    "I tried to help you. I tried to help you see the light. But you wouldn’t listen. You did this, Peter! Tony wants to use your knowledge for his gain. It’s what he did to me. It’s what he’s done all of his life." 

    The white walls began to simmer away with a blue flickering light, finally revealing the true location to Peter. It looked like he was in some sort of abandoned warehouse. He could see now that the floor was scattered with glass, debris and dead leaves throughout. The decrepit structure had gaping windows and old, damaged beams. His ears picked up no sounds or signs of activity outside the area and he could only wonder where he had been taken.

    Requested by anon: I desperately need an extremely dramatic one-shot where Peter is in some theatre club in his school or something and is some behind-the-scenes type of guy, but everyone just drops their work on him, so he SNAPS at everyone, including the teacher(pls make her a cruel sorta person) and students... and the principal? Maybe? Please? With a large bucket of oreos on the side and a glass of chocolate milk?

    "Stop lagging and do your work," she huffed and walked away. Peter mentally screamed at her that it was not his job to do.

    I will hurt them for this. I don't know how yet, but give me time, a dark part of Peter's mind whispered, A day will come when they think themselves safe and happy, and suddenly their joy will turn to ashes in their mouth, it cackled, then they'll know that the debt is paid.

    A/N: I just realized that the summary makes this look way too dark. Guys, Petey-pie isn't killing anybody.

    “My pills?”

    “Why are they sitting at the back of the pantry?” Peter asks, voice dangerously low.

    When an Avenger's mission ends with a critically injured Tony stark, Peter is left in the dark by his teammates on when this happened. After arriving back to the tower, it is up to Pepper Potts to not only console a traumatized and scared teen, but to also get to the bottom of why the team felt it necessary to keep Peter from his mentor in a time of crisis. Sprinkle in some angsty Peter just wanting to tell Tony how much he loves him, and some very sorry Avengers and you are in for a whirlwind of an emotional rollercoaster.

    So I am just now getting into Marvel, and just watched Infinity War for the first time ever. To say I am an emotional mess would be a vast understatement. This popped into my head as I tried to wrap my head around this scene. I included quotes from Homecoming because I can, and because it made it more emotional. Just so I don't get sued: I do not own any of the characters mentioned in this work, (Though that would be awesome). Please enjoy!
