Summary
Ryker is acting strange, and Alice helps Cecil investigate what's going on. When the answer falls into her lap, it's even more pleasant than she would have imagined.
“Okay, so here’s what’s going on,” Cecil began, setting his mug of Relax Tea on Alice’s table. “Palmo came to talk to Terry at the detective agency. Apparently, Ryker is working much harder than usual, and he’s worried about him.”
She scrunched her nose. “That’s it? That’s the myst-”
“No, no, wait! Just hear me out, okay? Palmo says that he’s been acting really out of character, and working nonstop for the past month. Not just woodworking, either - apparently, he’s been doing work all over town. All Palmo wants is an explanation! He’s worried about him. We both know Ryker, and this isn’t normal for him at all! Palmo is worried he’s sick or something.”

Summary
After the well-meaning Palmo manages to get Alice and Ryker alone together, they are forced to talk and clear up their misunderstandings. Directly follows Storms.
Alice followed him, hands on her hips. “Well geez! I wish someone would have thought to inform ME that I have a boyfriend!”
Ryker abruptly jerked his head up. “What do you mean?”
“I mean that I’m not dating Martin. I’m not dating anybody!” She stared at him in bewilderment. “Where did you get that idea in your head? Is this because him and I went to the inn together yesterday?”
The pink hue spreading across his cheeks was all the answer she needed.

When a small mishap at The Blue Moon leaves them spending the night in the same room, they're faced with their inner feelings and deepest desires. Occurs during Martin's first romance event.
"Alice smiled as joy and relief spilled into her soul. She closed the few steps between them, hugging him tightly as she pressed her face against his warm chest.
All this time… could he really have felt the same way?
Despite his shock, his arms snaked around her waist and cradled her against him. She melted into his sturdy frame, inhaling the intoxicating aroma of sandalwood and faint smoke."

Summary
Ryker encounters Alice and Martin on their way to spend a night at the Blue Moon, and many assumptions are made. Jealousy, embarrassment, and romance follows. Occurs during Martin's first romance event.
“W-what the hell is wrong with you, Kumo?” Ryker exclaimed. “Gah! You’re running an inn, not a brothel! Where the hell is their chaperone?”
He choked back a guffaw. “Their what?”
"Did I stutter? Their CHAPERONE! Who’s gonna make sure there’s nothing untoward going on here?!”
“Bahahaha!! You’re kiddin’ me!” Kumo rolled his head back and let loose his signature deep-throated laugh as Ryker speared him with a glare. “I didn’t realize that two consentin’ adults needed a chaperone to enjoy a night in peace!”
Edit: This was previously titled Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me, but I changed the name to Storms and used the title for the first of the series (previously Ryker, Interrupted) because I thought this works better :)

Summary
Ryker's nap is interrupted when his favorite SEED ranger literally stumbles upon him while walking to the beach. Passionate pining ensues. Inspired by Ryker's first romance event.
“Gah! Is she…. Cuddling with me?” the halfling thought excitedly. “Could she have feelings for me...? Wait, wait. There’s no way I'm that lucky.”
Ryker peered down to look at her face and saw her contentedly snoozing against his chest. Her breath was slow and soft, and her hair spread across his shoulder like a river of gold.
He sighed with both joy and disappointment. He wished she would have snuggled up against him of her own conscious desire…. But he couldn’t complain when the girl of his dreams was pressed against his chest, now could he?
Edit: This was previously titled Ryker, Interrupted, and Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me was the title of the next in the series, but I changed them both because I thought this worked better. :)

Or…Margaret and John elope. They must deal with the family fall out upon their return, to say nothing of the gossip and the fact that they both are secretly in love with each other, both are convinced the other doesn’t and…well…they’ve not so much as even kissed.

In October 2022, I wrote a one-shot entitled ‘A Breath of Hope’ as part of a collaborative collection of stories about time travel. At the time of publication, readers unanimously asked for more. This is my more.
I’m giving this story to TRavine. You asked me to fix it, and I tried. For you. I hope it doesn’t disappoint (and I hope you have a hankie). Enjoy.

Margaret never received an education on marital relations, but she finds herself desperate to be close to John, even if that means making very brazen and bizarre decisions (like walking in on him bathing and offering to, of all things, wash his hair).
