Hanbin is so focused on keeping his movements silent that he doesn’t notice the door ahead of him opening, doesn’t hear the creak of the hinge or the soft, exasperated exhale.
“Hanbin-ah. What are you still doing up?”
It’s whispered, low and murky-sweet, and yet still Hanbin startles. His heart goes from stagnant to racing, more sweat drips down the muscles of his chest, and he thinks wildly for a moment that Gyuvin’s right and their dorm really is haunted.
“Hyung,” Hanbin says, turning in the darkness, his tongue thick and dry in his mouth, “did I wake you? I’m sorry.”
