Brilliant, a tightly packed and scripted whirl if s tale, that's really freeform and quirky. I KNOW! And it's Percy being bamf in high-nerd style.
About halfway through this office epic, GNARLEY fight, you need this, it should have won a prize.

A masters' class in how to discuss consent and give space, wrapped up in a SS/HG pairing that pretty much ignores the Boy Gryffindor and his annoying buddy. Huzzah for rotten-to-the-core Dumbledore!
Read this author for character and interaction - they aren't regurgitating canon. The side characters are handled like the best of British film - they aren't there just to fill space, they have heartbreaking backstories and heroic moments of their own - whether those characters are animal, veg or mineral.
The author's big bugaboo is organization - info and scenes tend to pop up arbitrarily, which gives the entire body of work an airy touch, useful when delving fearlessly into the tough subjects of torture, recovery and suicidal ideation.
This is a writer that fanfic will hold only so long - they have hard-hitting novels percolating inside; you can see the future work getting rolled around here, the rough edges of personal style being knocked off.
Read all the stories, slowly. They have a LOT if emotional impact.
