Spamton ran a finger around the edge of her screen, following it down the long line of her neck to toy with the edge of her open collar, so close to the smooth contours of her soft, silicone chest. Borderline obscene, especially for how professional Tenna liked them to be, but who was he without a little risk? A sharp bite of static shot through him, and he leaned in to whisper against her vents.
“C’mon [[gorgeous]], I wanna see how much you missed [[little ole me]].”

The average CRT Television can hold onto stored electricity for an indeterminate amount of time depending on their make and model. But time moves differently in the dark world. It can take longer for the effects of the light world on the darkner's true form to fully take effect.
A year after being unplugged, Tenna reminisces on what he misses most, left in a box with his world becoming darker than ever. At least one old codger is still in his corner.

Originally a supposed murder attempt, Tenna can now walk around in the Light World, able to switch between ordinary TV and monster. Now he has to actually put the work into acting like a person, sorting through his trauma, and getting to know his new roommate. When characters from his past start making things more complicated, will he be able to handle the pressure? Or will he shatter for a third time?

With that track record, he couldn’t figure out why everyone in his life was so obsessed with sending him off to the lombax dimension. Everyone, up to and including the tiny robot he just met on Savali.

A rewrite of several scenes from Rift Apart (including Ratchet's argument with Rivet) to be more respectful of Ratchet's previous history, trauma, and decisions regarding the lombaxes.
