Tommy didn’t think too much about the weird, goth cult outside of town. Between avoiding his father and working and going to school, he didn’t have time to think about something so completely irrelevant to his day to day. Besides, where was Lady Death in the nightmare that was his life? Why hadn’t she done anything yet to save him? Little did Tommy know that “help” was right around the corner.
OR
SBI see Tommy and think, “Wow! Lady Death led us to the perfect new family member!” And they snatch him right up.

She can’t bear to look at the thing that slinks into her room. A deceptively small creature, with a round face that was smeared with dirt and who knows what else.. she had saw the little freak chew on bones like some dog sometimes— she doesn’t even know where he got bones. She can feel him even if she isn’t looking, those big eyes. Hollow spheres that eat up the space around them. She had been pressing her fingers along that old carving, three little crows. Reminiscing, something bitter and yearning in her chest as she perks up at him as he approaches. She doesn’t look up, can’t bear to.
