xue yang and nie huaisang have been best friends since they were little so it only makes sense that , when asked, huaisang would offer to hire xue yang at the nie bakery. put xue yangs chaotic customer service with huaisangs passive management skills, and the peace of Nie Bakery is going to plummet. luckily, the bread is good so people still come.
things are not as peaceful though as one may hope. a new spree of murders have been reported around the city and all of them have been connected to old family names. so far, no one of great importance has killed ( someone named su she? who knows ) but things are growing tense and the city is holding its breath for the next victim to appear.
is the nie family at risk of being hit? will xue yang handle the stress as just an investigative intern? can he protect his best friend? will nie mingjue ever stop changing his hobbies? lan xichen doesn’t seem to think so.
