Zanka went missing nearly two weeks ago on his way home from an interview with the newscaster Mymo. After intensive investigation, remnants of his choker, blood, and his treasured Lovely Assistaff emerge as the determining evidence of his death– of Zanka’s suicide.
However, there are those who know how the system works, how easily people slip through the cracks. There are those that refuse to believe that Zanka wanted to give up on himself, and there is one who is certain Zanka wouldn’t go down without a fight.

"GREAT! Just great! As if this could GET any better!" Zanka bites out, seething. Of course he's stuck here, injured, in a damp, dirty cell, and of course he's stuck here with fucking Jabber of all people.
Jabber whistles appreciatively, "Man, you're in a mood today. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" and cackles at his own joke. Zanka's gonna strangle him. He's gonna rip out those bars with his bare hands and use them to beat Jabber to death.

The whole almost destroying Hell and Heaven thing left a bad taste in everyone’s mouths. Luckily, Vox received a train ticket for a perfectly relaxing business trip.
He’s dedicated the next few weeks to planning for everything since then, but there’s some odd decisions he’s been making that leads the Vees to think otherwise.
Nevertheless, the horns keep blaring, and the train tracks whistle his name.

Summary
In the chaos that follows the botched Extermination, Vox is smoking like a chimney, which is probably why it takes him quite so long to realize that something is actually wrong with him.
The carnation petals are a little harder to ignore. He's not sure if the color has some sort of symbolic meaning, but it doesn't matter a hell of a lot when you get right down to it, when they're streaked with your own blood.
Vox knows what this is. He also knows how this one ends, and perhaps, all things considered, that wouldn't be the worst possible outcome one could imagine.
