The whole room falls away as understanding hits Catra like a bolt of lightning, an electrifying shock to her system that leaves her reeling. Getting married? Her and Adora? Questions well up on her tongue — What? Why? — and she doesn’t realize she has fumbled through those fragmented inquiries until Frosta answers her.

Mike’s breath shook as he knocked on the door. He’d woken up from the quiet but still audible noises coming from across the hall and bolted out of his bed as soon as he turned the bedside lamp and saw the empty spot where Will should’ve been peacefully asleep.
When he heard no response from the other side, his brows furrowed as he tried to reason with himself whether or not to open the door.
He stood there for about five seconds before rummaging through the nearby console table drawer in search of a quarter. When he finally retrieved the dusty coin, Mike slotted the edge against the lock and turned, successfully clicking the door open.
His heart sank. Will was hunched over the sink all teary-eyed, with bloodied hands staining the bathroom surface.

And really, how is he supposed to be anything but selfish when it comes to Kacchan? When his personal symbol of all things beautiful and heroic and good finally feels human and attainable and sees him?
