…Actually speaking of being dead. Jason does know someone from the Ghost Zone with enough sheer audacity to help him fight what very well could be an actual demon.

He didn't have the greatest track record of that back home. Telemachus seemed happy to have a friend in the palace and the queen looked at him with knowing eyes. What she knew, Percy wasn't sure but she definetly knew something. With Athena at Telemachus' side and Apollo following Percy around, this new land was shaping up to be very different than his own.

However, this does not abate Danny's grief, nor his fears. What if he loses himself in his grief and anger and loss, and it twists him and turns him into another Pariah Dark? What if he ends up hurting the Infinite Realms?

“Vampires are ruthless, bloodthirsty monsters,” Hongjoong bit out. “The only way they’re allowed to hunt is if they’re a part of a pack because they need to be kept in check. I can’t imagine what sort of delusional pack would want the burden of bloodsuckers though.”

There was a gasp behind him and he turned, meeting beautiful dark eyes staring at him in shock and suspicion, before the Beta’s expression turned into a grin, probably as a reaction to Felix’s shocked face.
Then the Beta started laughing.“Sungie.” The Alpha right beside him said, tugging at his hand, as if calming him down, which only made the Beta laugh even harder, now standing at the foot of the escalator, staring up at them with glee.
“Channie-hyung, are you trying to kidnap that poor guy?”
“What-” The Alpha started, clearly exasperated as he looked into Felix’s face, meeting his eyes and then stopping dead in his tracks.

And I know it’s not something that you’ll let happen overnight or anything because we’re—” He laughs, quiet but harsh. “We’re not like that. Not right now, at least. But you have to let them, okay?”
It’s so strange, Chan thinks, sitting here with the knowledge of who he is, while staring—quite literally—at the person that he will be, one day. He’s trying to reconcile the differences between himself and Chris, because it seems like such a large leap. Maybe even an impossible one.
