Tokuno Yushi has always been good at handling everything.

To find out, Yushi agrees to date Riku, but maybe they have different ideas of what liking means.

“Well, I'm sure you don't know him. He's really handsome but he has this basic style with his plain long sleeves shirt or flannels and he wears glasses. Really looking like a cute, handsome nerd.” Yushi explains.
“So the name?” Sion listlessly asks, already tired of the conversation.
“His name is Riku. Maeda Riku.” Yushi reveals with a soft, shy smile on his face.
“What?!” He hears Wonbin exclaim.
“Maeda Riku?!” Sohee incredulously asks.
“That fuckboy?!” And Sion's words that gets Yushi surprised the most.
“What?!” Yushi equally exclaims.
Maybe they really are just a group of dramatic friends.
or, when Yushi struggles to navigate his feelings for Riku, his friends aren't exactly the best confidants. But as they spend time on Jeju Island with just them two, he realizes a lot of things.

That got Osamu’s attention. Not that Rintarou was an unusual topic between them, when he wasn’t yapping about volleyball, Atsumu was always running his mouth about him, but it was usually on a light hearted tone and with a sickly sweet smile on his face that made Osamu want to punch him. Don’t get him wrong, Rintarou was one of Osamu’s best friends, but he did not want to know what Rintarou did or said or ate or looked like today and hear Atsumu giggle about it. Ugh.
This time however, Atsumu seemed really serious, a bit nervous even, Osamu could tell from the way he kept scratching the back of his neck.

Naturally, this leads to: a totally casual and not at all suspicious series of questions posed to the other third years about who Kita-san is crushing on; a farm day at the Kita family rice paddies that features both duck-wrangling and tea-drinking on the Kita family’s engawa (not at the same time); a high school sweetheart boyfriend that eventually doubles as Osamu’s future rice supplier; and the coming-of-age realization that sometimes, onigiri really is the answer.
