Summary
Viktor’s mind is sharp as a freshly honed knife, quick and nimble, grounded where Jayce’s is fanciful, bracing where Jayce is despairing, enduring where he is capricious. Through Viktor, Jayce’s ideas are refracted, splintering into a vivid rainbow of possibilities or distilling down to a beam of pure brilliance. Together, they’ve gone from stabilizing one Hexgem to crafting entire arrays of them, wowing Council members who’d previously ignored Viktor and come within a hair’s breadth of banishing Jayce.
So why does Jayce feel so goddamn insane whenever they're alone together?

Summary
Jayce Talis is starting a new job in Piltover University, two years after his research had fizzled out in an unspectacular null result. His only goal is to keep his head down and try to teach the next generation.
Viktor, recovering from a spinal operation, is pleased to have his work load reduced. Finally, he’ll have time to work in the lab. So long as his new colleague isn’t too much trouble.
