Summary
It's not hard to tell when Sophie doesn't like someone. It's not like she'll bother hiding it.
So when she gets partnered with a certain someone for her PE class's dance unit, everyone assumes it's a nightmare for her. I mean, she's never nice to him.
Except that no one knows she does like him, and that this is going to be a really long unit.
High School AU in which Sophie caught feelings first.

Summary
A year has passed since Simon Snow first stumbled upon a moving castle, and the adventure awaiting within. Since then he's learnt many things — least of all that if you run from your own story, it's only going to track you down all the more determinedly. (Stories are tricky like that.) Today he's standing at a cliff's edge, far to the north in a land he doesn't know, watching the waves and letting salt kiss his skin. There's a reason he's out here leaning into the sky, with the wind at his back and a wizard waiting for him to come down — Simon's got an important job to do. He's here to bring about an ending for another who deserves one. (And yes, he needs to stretch his wings.)

They say the wizard Pitch traverses the land in his moving castle, looking for hearts to steal and devour. Simon's too busy to worry about such things - he's got a farm to run, cheese to sell, and countless wonky goat faces to stitch onto bags. It'd be a bloody nightmare if something were to come along and disrupt his regimented life of cheese, eat, goat, sleep, repeat...say, for example, a wraith who behaves a lot like a scorned vampire, a plucky apprentice, a fire demon, a heedless war, or an unshakeable curse. Yes, it'd be just dreadful if that were to happen. (But if it didn't, there would be no plot, so. Sorry, Simon.)
