Again, Shion is not one who looks back into his past. Once something is done, he tends to forget and let it go pretty easily. No point in ruminating or drowning oneself in needless nostalgia. Life gets easier this way. And yet, he can’t help the rush of memories upon seeing these two men. A nagging, warm feeling swirls in his stomach as nostalgia hits.
“I know these two,” Shion states suddenly, eyes still on the two models. Ayano, who is just about to pout and sulk in response to being ignored earlier, suddenly perks up.
“Wait... no way. You know pro heroes Deku and Dynamight?”
“Well, I mean-“ Shion rubs the back of his head shiftily, “I used to. We went to school together. Elementary and middle school.”

I am so glad I’ve found another canon-rewrite with draco redemption starting from 4th year. It’s my fav year for canon rewrite because it’s perfectly ideal for draco to finally grow out of his biased perspectives. And boy did he grow. This was a draco-pov fic with a lot of introspection and monologues. Draco is a very interesting character here with a high sense of self-awareness, maturity and intelligence, but without giving the story an ex deus machina plot. Everything is written so well and bonus point for having a harry that does not immediately fall in love with draco from the get go. Their relationship development is both fast and slow, mature and innocent in its own way. Also, draco here is incredibly devotedly in love, and extremely protective of harry. It defines his every action and kept me reading in anticipation. The series is very much unfinished though so will have to reread once it does.

Another brilliantly written domestic, slice-of-life post war/8th year drarry. No matter how much I’ve read this sort of fic with similar light-hearted (but with a splash of angst) premise, I’ll never get enough of it. And this one isn’t just masterfully written, it’s also satisfyingly long and so heartwarming. Like lying in a bed under a warm, cozy duvet. Drarry is hopelessly smittend and devoted to each other here ofc. And while this was mostly written from draco pov, his introspection and monologues are so in character and yet so relatable. I adore adore draco in this ❤️

Epistolary within one summer (prior to Book 4). The transition from enemies to lovers felt very smooth and in character despite the short time period. Could definitely feel the longing and hesitance within both boys as they started getting to know each other

Reread this story from the beginning once it’s complete. I’ve skimmed through the earlier parts and started reading properly starting from middle of 4th year. The story is compelling and written incredibly well so it’s really worth bookmarking.
