P.S. I did not like how the story was progressing....SO, I redid it. After a lot of thought and time going over drafts, I scrapped the old one and moved on with something the same but different. Sorry to those who read up to the existing chapter 9, but I promise the new work will be better and make better sense.Bookmarked by margxz

Summary
The Potter family is not known for stopping the war with sacrifice. In this world, the war ended in a treaty with concessions on both sides, and the Potters raised their children in a time of unprecedented peace. Their eldest child is not known for facing down a dark lord, in fact, not much is known about him at all.
Or: Harry is born unable to speak anything other than parseltongue.
