A fix-it fic to end all fix-it fics. The comedy was impeccable, the romance was impeccable, the action scenes and plot were impeccable, and the characterization was BEYOND perfect. I wasn't invested at all in Shen Jiu until I read this and now I'm a hardcore YQY/SQQ shipper, god bless. 10,000 commendations from me!

I know nothing about HQ but I binged all 30 chapters of this nonstop and cried numerous times. Like this WRECKED me. SO good. I loved how the author handled thematic arcs about toxic family dynamics and how tough they can be to unlearn, how they can spill into our most important relationships and make us hard to tolerate. 10000% recommend

This fic destroyed me, devastated me, converted me into a Shigaraki simp, and made me cry so much at 3am that I woke up my partner LOL. I can't form a single coherent thought about it because every time I think about it, I become an emotional wreck again. The writing is beyond gorgeous too, efficient and readable but with clever motifs and metaphors interspersed throughout. Absolutely stunning.
