And then Peter’s alone in his own motel room, sitting on the edge of his bed staring blankly at a TV playing Friends reruns like white noise, trying to parse through his emotions like translating something for Spanish homework. Like he’s picking up on some things, but will probably have to put some effort, consult a textbook and maybe Google translate, to figure out what exactly is going on.
He thinks he’s okay. He feels a little twitchy, a little wrung out and smudged over, but there’s also some dangerous kind of calm and triumph creeping up on him.

After three months, Peter has come to regret his decision of not telling Ned and MJ the truth.
Three months of loneliness. Three months without any friends. Three months alone in a world where no-one remembers who he is.
It’s been three months and Peter is miserable.
He feels hopeless. Lost. He feels like he’s pretending to be someone he just isn’t anymore.
This all changes when he stumbles (quite literally) into none other than MJ one day. She might not remember who he is, but she suggests they exchange phone numbers and keep in contact, saying that he reminds her of an old friend.
It’s not much, but Peter is more than willing to take it. Anything to get a piece of the life he once had back.
And who knows, maybe it’ll turn into something more. Maybe he doesn’t have to say goodbye to his past so soon.

Magnum and Higgins follow their case to the bottom of a well, because of course they do. Magnum uses it as an excuse to ask Higgins out, because of course he does. Now they just need someone to rescue them.
