Satoru knows that it’s a stupid question. He can think of a million and one reasons why he would be the one ripped from his home. Kenjaku smiles anyway. Wider. He pushes down on Satoru’s forehead.
“Because you are a monster, Gojou Satoru-kun. Our job is to control monsters.” He leans closer. “And to find out what it is that makes you tick.”
“I’m–“ Satoru’s eyes are wide. He thrashes again. “I’m not a–“
“You are not allowed out of this.” Kenjaku continues. “No matter how hard you struggle, you will never escape us. Cooperate, and it will be bearable. Continue to struggle, and I cannot promise you even that.” The man’s smile drops.

A selfish part of Jade is still a teensy bit upset that not everyone in town knows who he is by now, especially the guy who sits around in a bus all day glaring at people.
