Javed feels a hot pound of blood in his ears, feels it expand to his whole head. He has to steady himself with a hand on the wall. This has literally never occurred to him as a possibility. Javed has spent the last four years assuming he will never see Adam again. The polite and awful woman on the phone yesterday who said she was Adam's publicist -- the reason Javed drank almost two bottles of cheap wine last night and is now skipping work -- had confirmed that chapter of his life was well and truly over.
Adam, on the intercom, asks, "Can I come up?"
Javed buzzes Adam in. What else can he do?

In Missouri, they break a bed. In Oklahoma a maid, for some reason - Dean says she didn't see the Do Not Disturb Sign; Sam says they forgot to hang it up in the first place - walks in on them. Dean claims later she screamed and screamed, but Sam was there and she just made a hitching, painful noise like there was a barrier keeping the air from her lungs. She does cover her mouth with her hand as she backs out of the room though, in perfect comedic stereotype. Sam would never admit it, but the memory is kind of a turn-on.

Hollander swallows, stares a beat longer, and then aggressively doesn’t look anywhere near the camera or Ilya. “Okay. So?”
Ilya thinks, it’s always this. Hollander feints towards something he wants, and Ilya gets it for him, and he offers it up like a toy for a cat. Not too needy, not too blasé, he must twitch it at just the right pace. Here, kitty kitty.
“I would like to take some, see how you look,” Ilya offers oh so casually. “It’s just for fun. You can keep all of them, after. Put them through the shredder. I don’t care.” He cares. The things he’d do to keep one of those photos.
Hollander wets his lips, glances back at the camera, flushes. Then the pounce: “You can leave it on the nightstand.”
