“I know.” Al-Haitham brings a hand up to his face. He pauses before he wipes away a tear.
Kaveh’s trembling. “You ruined me."
Al-Haitham exhales, slow and shuddery. “I know.”
Kaveh closes his eyes— “I hate that you left me.”
—and Al-Haitham kisses him.
After four long years, Al-Haitham finally returns to the idol industry.

Osamu only laughs, feeding into Keiji’s suspicions that it’s sort of slipped his mind as well. It’s so… unromantic that it almost circles back into being sweet.
