This time, it's his 777 of choice, which is nowhere near his new apartment complex for this express purpose, and yet. Ineffable Joker will always find a fucking way. And if he can't, he'll circle like a bird of prey until a way opens up.
Twelve years later, nothing is conventional and everything is deliberate.

Summary
And then he opens the door, and then he jumps at least one meter back and smacks his head against the closet door with a yelp, because sitting on the edge of Ren's unmade bed holding a mug from Ren's kitchen that says #1 Murder Victim, is Akechi Goro.
"I was invited to supervise your first blowjob on a man," he says, monotonous and unmoved. He sips at his drink before adding, "And, no, Sakamoto, I don't know why I said yes, either."
It's Saturday at Ren's place. Ryuji cannot stress enough how much he was expecting just Ren.

Summary
What are the odds Akira's best friend who's also his drug dealer who's also his hopeless crush might actually reciprocate his perhaps ill-advised feelings? Not great, he's convinced himself. Stunningly bad, in fact.
So—since this theory is obviously infallible—what's the harm in testing it? Any good mathematician would, and any actuary worth their salt would have no excuse not to, if only to calculate the risks at play. Nothing's going to happen, surely.
Surely.

Maybe calling Akechi to jerk off to the sound of his voice isn't the best idea Akira has ever had...but damn if it doesn't feel good.

Summary
Goro shuffles back onto his side of the bed—or what used to be his side, anyway. The whole bed is Ren's now. "I'm not forcing you into this, am I?"
"What?" Ren's voice is low and gruff and definitely guarded. "You're asking this now?"
"Just answer the question."
Ren pulls the pillow out from under Goro's head and shucks off the pillowcase. There's a wet spot on it from Goro's spit. "This is why we broke up," he says lightly.
Right. They broke up because they're both fundamentally incapable of being honest with themselves and each other. They get jealous. They self-sabotage. They play stupid games instead of communicating. They didn't even last a year, and now Goro has agonized over this for even longer than that. They're simply better when they're apart.
And still, somehow, every time he's in Ren's bed again, he cannot quite figure out how he ended up back here.
