The brunette manifests a chopping board, a spoon, a knife, and turmeric floating right in front of Nice.
Nice hardens his gaze, biting his lip and preventing himself to respond from the obvious bait. He’s losing his cool more than usual, like a thread on the verge of snapping from stress. He shakes his head and instead directs his attention to the floating… objects the guy made.
“What am I supposed to do with these.”
It’s not a question but a demand.
The annoyance looks at him, winks, and says, “Slice them into juliennes.”
Silence.
Is this a prank? Is he making fun of him?
Nice could feel his rage filling his body and his face starting to flush red in indignation. He takes a breath, forcing himself to stay calm since. This is unbecoming of the perfect hero.
“Be careful, though, I heard turmeric stains your fingers. You wouldn’t what that right, Perfect Hero?”
