Summary
It’s mesmerising, following the fluid lines of the sculpture from the neck to the tail, each detail so delicately carved and shaped it’s impossible to imagine that it’s been carved from stone.
He’s reached a hand out before he knows it, stroking one finger carefully along the raised spines of the dragon, along its back. It’s warm beneath his hand, despite all the stone around him being cold. It’s definitely some kind of stone though, maybe a refined obsidian of some kind? It seems to swallow the light around it completely.
His finger is warm where he is touching the statue.

The whole ordeal made her worry about all sorts of things that could come up and ruin the event, and what if one of them was caused by her? Her girlfriend, Kanade, must’ve seen how much she worried about the whole thing and gave Honami just a bit of helpful advice by recommending she gave them ‘something from her heart,’ as she said. Nothing too bland nor extravagant, just something sweet and genuine.

It’s the way he carries himself, the way he constantly reaches higher to achieve his dreams of stardom. It’s admirable, endearing, and all the other big words that maybe Haruka or Shizuku would use, but that he doesn’t quite know his way around yet.
