Summary
In the Shire there were two truths. The Tooks were odd and the Baggins were respectable. The Baggins family dealt in contracts and favours, and while the Shire knew that the Tooks were odd, it was the Baggins family that had other blood running through their veins.
Bilbo Baggins did not go running out his door for want of an adventure, he went running out his door because of a terribly worded contract and a laughable quest that somehow held the spark of other.
In this story, it is not the Tooks that held fae blood in their family tree, it is the Baggins, and theirs is so much closer to the surface.- Language:

Summary
When the first of these strange people fell from the sky and made a dent in the Moby, Marco was very concerned. He figured they were either a threat against Pops or, more likely, dead from impact.
After the nth time a random stowaway appears, this one is a goddamn skeleton, Marco just sighs and points them in the direction of their new second division commander.
Because for some ungodly reason all they seem to care about is Whitebeard's newest son, Ace.
(Ace is very confused and has never met these people in his life.)
Or: The Strawhats will always only bow to one king, and Whitebeard is not that man. Unfortunately for everyone, that man is nowhere to be found.

Summary
The liar. The prideful pretender. The coward.
Usopp didn't know how much he could change, even when the chance was thrust onto him. He doubted he could correct things with his slingshot and his wits, even with a decade to work with.
But, even though he knew he was the weakest, he was still a Straw Hat pirate, and he would damn well try. -

Summary
Luffy never went to sea, but all his new brothers heard about him at some point. Ace was a devoted brother. And Luffy, shouting at Ace who was trapped on the execution scaffold in the Marineford courtyard, seemed just as devoted.
“If you’re going to bow your head and accept death, I’m going to kick your ass all over the grand line! You shitty brother!”
•••
At some point all the white-bearded sons heard about Ace’s amazing little brother, they just couldn’t have known that Monkey D. Luffy was actually the pirate king of a future that no longer existed.
Teach betrays them. Ace is going to be executed. Then the storm hits the waters of Marineford.

Summary
"Hey Marco?" Thatch asked, staring down at the trio of unconscious boys laying before him. The freckled child in particular had a striking resemblance to their youngest brother. "Did Ace have a secret kid that he never told us about?"
