Summary
Merlin gets kidnapped. Which is a terrible inconvenience, but nothing to be too concerned about when you’re a very powerful sorcerer. The plan is simple: allow himself to be held captive for a few days, and then make a “fortunate escape”.
Then, of course, Arthur, not knowing any of this, just has to show up right as Merlin’s about to escape. And Merlin, being terrified of Arthur discovering his magic, has no choice but to lock himself back up and re-inflict the wounds he’d magically healed.
Cue the angst and comedy.
