“Well,” Maestro shifts in his seat, stretching a leg out until the toe of his filthy boot finds the crevice between the cheeks of Lucy’s bottom and presses, but unlike when her Ghoul did something similar, this act is far from appreciated.
Lucy jolts away from the intrusion with a startled yelp, and beside her, Dogmeat makes a similar sound.
“Now, I reckon you can pay with a show,” Maestro continues in an easy drawl, “Or you can pay with the bitch. Either way your girl’s gettin’ fucked, Coop, I just reckon I owe you enough to give you the choice on who’s gonna be doin’ the fuckin’. F’you don’t want to, that’s fine by me. I am more than happy to... fill your shoes, so to speak.”

Probably the most beautiful person he’s ever seen in his life, in all honesty.
The newcomer has flowing brown hair highlighted with streaks of honey blond and tan skin dotted with moles. He’s wearing a yellow sweater in spite of the last dregs of September heat. He’s got these crazy pretty eyes, too. Dark and downturned and deep.
He’s golden. Gorgeous. Everything Eddie loves and wants and needs.
His mouth goes dry.
When interrogated about the general absurdity of the night, Eddie will defend his cringeworthy behavior by saying that he had absolutely no idea the sweet thing everyone very lovingly called Sunny was actually, in fact, Steve Harrington.

Summary
1987 went to shit. Vecna brought on what may well be the apocalypse, and Steve fought it to the end. Literally.
Death was supposed to be a one-way street. But knowing a girl with super powers had a tendency to change the game. So when Steve opens his eyes to a beer-soaked bathroom on Halloween in 1984, Nancy calling him 'bullshit' all over again, the universe might forgive Steve for thinking he was either a) in Hell or b) going cracked. But Steve didn't have time to freakout. Not when El finds him and asks that he help her change the events of the future. Not when he's the only other person she managed to drag with her for chance number two.
OR: A time travel fix-it, where 1987 Steve is dropped back into his 1984 self. And now he has to deal with that plus the impending apocalypse on the horizon. But he'll be fine, right? Because, as El informs whoever asks, Steve's 'The Babysitter'. So he gets to work. He can cry later, when he's done.

Nancy was surprised at how easy things were with Steve over spring break; it felt like they came back together with no bitterness, no painful history between them. And then Jonathan returns home. Nancy can't believe she's doing this again, in love with one boy whilst falling for another; why can't she be content with what she has and not long for more?
Returning to Hawkins to help in the fight against Vecna, Jonathan feels like he is seeing Steve for the first time. But his love for Nancy is as strong as ever. Still, as things heat up, all the little moments that he catches from Steve mean he's starting to feel something.
After the spring break from hell, Steve has decided that he needs to let go of Nancy for good. Seeing Nancy again made everything he thought was in the past come rushing back. So much so that he decided to open up to Nancy about his dreams of a happy family, of her, only to see her run back to Jonathan's arms. He can't keep doing this to himself. Why does it seem like Nancy and Jonathan aren't happy with that decision?
