Eddie is snapped out of his thoughts quickly and realizes the toast is burning and the omelets are cold. Oh well, he’ll have to make some new toast and warm up the omelets. First, he had more important things to do, like telling his best friend that he’s in love with him.

“Buenos dias, michita,” he says, petting her gently and then turning to kiss her forehead.
Eddie scratches behind her ears and ohhh, that feels nice. Copernicus purrs and closes her eyes. She loves her Eddie so much.
Soon, though, it’s time to get up. She jumps onto Eddie’s chest and takes hold of the blanket in her little mouth, trying to pull it off of him. And Eddie has the gall to chuckle at her. Does he not believe in her strength? She could totally pull all the sheets off the bed with her mouth if she tried.
Copernicus drops the blanket to meow loudly at him, telling him off.
“Shh, shh, princesita.” Okay, well, she can’t be mad anymore when he calls her that. “You’re going to wake Dada.”
Copernicus watches on as Eddie sits up and leans over Buck, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek before getting out of bed. She can admit they’re very cute. But please let it be known that she got a good morning kiss first, thank you.
