Summary
Of course, Elrond was nothing but a mass of contradictions. He was Fëanorian, and yet not a kinslayer; he was Dior’s grandson, yet treated him as a son; he could well prove to be cruel despite his kind veneer. Logic suggested he should run from any Fëanorian as fast as he could. But if he ignored his hatred of the Fëanorians and looked at Elrond as a person, he found he liked what he saw. He had been honest with Dior from the start, even when it would have been more convenient for him to lie; he was patient; and he seemed kind and gentle. More than any elf he had ever met, he reminded Dior of Beren.
Elrond retrieves Dior, Elurín, and Eluréd from the Halls of Mandos in the Fourth Age and helps them adjust to life in Valinor as half-elves.

Summary
Shire-folk have debated the origin of hobbits for decades. In his latest book on hobbit lore, Meriadoc Brandybuck, author of Herblore of the Shire and similar titles, Mr Brandybuck proposes an outrageous origin for hobbits as the descendants of elves.
*
Crack treated seriously proposing hobbits as the part-elven descendants of Caranthir Fëanorion. Written as if it's the introduction to a longer book by Merry.

Despite her horror at Elrond's bonds with his kidnappers, Elwing agrees to meet with him once more in the hopes of finding common ground between herself and her horribly Fëanorian son. They come to an agreement, but not the one anyone had hoped for.

Summary
Very few signs of his original purpose in their fort remained.
The game “Escape!” was one such reminder. The twins would run and hide from Maglor and it was Maglor’s duty to seek them out, hunting the sound of stifled giggles and rushed little footsteps.
Elrond goes missing in a game of hide-and-seek. Maglor fears the worst and even Elros is stressed, but Maedhros seems oddly calm about the situation.

Summary
But as swiftly as his anger rose, he was distracted by who else was there and who was not. Maedhros and Maglor were waiting for him, as he would have expected, but Celegorm and Curufin whom had pressed on ahead in Doriath were nowhere to be seen, nor was there any sign of Amras. And ahead of his brothers stood his father.
Caranthir is reborn and struggles to adapt to life in Fourth Age Valinor. As strange as it is to have his father back, the strangest thing by far is the annoying half-elf his brothers have adopted.

Summary
People stared at her in Valinor. It was not that scars were unheard of, but few had scars so dreadful as hers. Even with all Elrond’s talent, there was no hiding what she had endured.
Celebrían sailed to Valinor to find healing, but she does not find it. Lorien does her no good and many elves there are unused to scars like hers.
There is one elf, though, with scars like hers. Maedhros quickly proves that Elrond's memories of him were nearer to the mark than the horror stories she has heard and Celebrían finds herself adopted by the Fëanorians.

Summary
In the small quarters he shared with his brother, he sat down and crossed his legs. Together, they reached out with their minds, brushing over the familiar minds of their followers and reaching out across the sea, calling desperately for Elrond. At first, silence was their only answer. But then something reached back.
Elrohir and Elladan sail for Valinor where they are reunited with their family and meet the rest of their kin. Together, they adjust to living amongst the heroes of the First Age and begin to search for a craft or calling to occupy themselves.

Spring flowers bloomed in Ost-in-Edhel, promising a warm and early summer. Laughter and harp-song drifted through the open window, but Celebrimbor had eyes only for his blackboard.
Celebrimbor is a smith and an academic. Annatar appears exactly the same. A one-shot focusing on their relationship and incorporating very basic mathematics and quantum mechanics as if they were developed in Middle Earth.

Summary
“It is a difficult thing indeed to lose a daughter, but as you said, not all your kin are lost to you. Come visit me in my home. Let me teach you the things you should have learnt from your mother.”Elrond hesitated. That was to be expected. He had been trained to be loyal to his kidnappers. Thingol could be patient. He painted a gentle smile on his face and sweetened his voice.
“I am told you know a little of our festivals and our literature, but do you know our songs? Our dances? Do you know the food we eat and the clothes we wear? You should at least learn of your culture.”
After a disastrous first meeting, Thingol attempts to connect with Elrond, his one living male descendant. Elrond is more interested in negotiating peace between the Noldor and the Sindar. Neither get quite what they want.

Summary
The next thing he knew was light, brilliant and golden as if from Laurelin itself. He blinked, shielding his eyes instinctively until they adjusted. The light source was nothing natural like a tree but a great orb of fire which hung in the sky, menacing those below like a great eye. So the Valar did not need his Silmarils after all, it seemed! They had done well enough without.
Fëanor is returned from the Halls of Mandos and placed into the provisional care of his adopted grandson for further healing. He grapples with adjusting to the Fourth Age of Arda and confronting the many elves who are apprehensive about his return. At least his grandson shows some promise.

Summary
After years of internal agony, he confessed one of these problems to his favourite cousins, who laughed at him.
“Wanting to look nice does not mean you are a nís, Finno,” Maitimo told him. “It just means you’re vain. Look at Makalaurë, he can’t go five minutes without fishing for a compliment.”
Fingon, currently Finno, has finally figured out he is a man. This story follows his process as he accepts himself, slowly expands the circle of people who know, and finally takes the leap and takes command of his own destiny.

Summary
The last thing he had known was endless heat as his skin blistered and flesh boiled in the fires of the earth, but now he shivered. It was dark, too, and the stars were bright overhead. The air smelled sweet and two figures stood a little way away from him, his brother Maglor and some other lord that Maedhros did not recognize. Both looked as though they had dressed hastily, throwing on cloaks over their sleeping-clothes
Maedhros is returned from the Halls of Mandos to his waiting family. But despite what they were told, not all hurts are healed in Mandos, and there are many new things both good and strange he must adapt to.

Summary
“Elrond, please,” Maglor begged, desperate for his son to understand. “We are in Tirion. You know what I did. You know what my father did, what our family did. To dress so, and speak so, and to go so armed!”There was a pause as Elrond looked at him, considering his words. “Is there one law in this land for our family and another for others?”
Maglor, in defiance of all expectations, sails West with his son. Instead of the peace he expects, he experiences first-hand the chaos Elrond's pride in his adopted family and House can cause when he is not surrounded by those who already know and understand him.
