Zani tilts her up by the chin with her good hand midway, knuckles brushing against the surface of her sweat-dampened cheeks, "You can be such a messy eater, Miss Acolyte."
Phoebe can hear the mirth in her voice, sugary sweet fondness leaking out of her vibrato like a bursting dam. She doesn't know just how true that statement is—she can't see, can only gauge from the amount of times she's had to lick off the blood that strayed to some other distant part of her face, that's still for sure when the blindfold's tugged tightly around her little head.
"Nonetheless," Zani taps a bloodied finger against her lips, "I suppose I should thank your Imperator for not making you a picky eater with my body."
But that is a statement that can be proven true, she thinks to herself as her lips loosens almost obediently to fit her into her mouth. She'll take what Zani gives her, she'll drink her up as much as she sees it fit. Her tinier hands hold onto Zani's singular one greedily, teething marks onto the curvature of her nailbeds, and that lingering trace of fondness is still ever-present when a sigh parts open Zani's lips.
"I really am the only one that can sate you, aren't I?"

Zani doesn't know how Phoebe can sense it; that line of thought bubbling in her head telling her to get up the moment the knot between Phoebe’s thighs wanes down and detaches itself from her body after their climax's high.
But she knows, somehow; this, Zani finds out as her beloved holds her close. Their bodies press against each other as they lie down on their sides, limbs tangled and intertwined as the sweat from all their previous movement saturates their skin.
"You're on the last days of your cycle," Phoebe notes, reminding her again of the work she has for this moment, its utter lack thereof, "Your rut's coming to a close, the exhaustion from all that knotting is finally catching up to you. No one's going to fault you for laying in bed for a little longer than usual."
