Summary
The mindscape trembles with each croon of his mother’s lullaby, each fraying pulse from the radio’s speakers hammering splintering shards into his skull.
Of course, TKO groans as another wave of pain smashes into his brain, he just had to find my secret box.
—
Like a slow seeping poison, KO is winning. TKO knows it, KO knows it—everybody knows it. But the thing about TKO? If this is really, truly it for him, then he’s not going without a fight.Series

Summary
Maybe this is all a dream. A twisted nightmare of a dream, sure, but imaginary regardless. Something he could wake up from. He’s not sure how time works in dreams, the specifics were never explained well enough for him to understand, but he is certain this is the case. A dream. Everything.
—
Defeated and tired, TKO contemplates this new, jarring reality he’s found himself in. One where he shouldn’t exist, but nothing ever seems to work out as it’s supposed to.Series

Summary
With the quadrennial Reverie about to take place, security is at an all-time high to ensure that Marie Jois and its royal participants remain safe from terrorists and revolutionaries trying to forward their agendas.
It’s only coincidence that at the same time Douglas Bullet, former member of the Roger Pirates and the only man to survive a direct Buster Call, decides now is the perfect time to surface from obscurity.
Needless to say, this development does not go over well with the member nation representatives.
The Five Elders expect Sengoku to deal with the issue. But Sengoku can’t very well fight Douglas and leave Marineford unattended, not with the admirals away to guard Marie Jois. Garp is no help either, having left without notice to the New World to quote on quote, “beat some sense into my idiot grandson.”
And so—
An empress, a feathered sociopath, a mafia boss, a Fishman, a religious tyrant, a wannabe vampire, and a depressed demon all walk into Marineford HQ.
Unfortunately for all parties involved, this is not a joke.

Summary
In the immediate aftermath of it all, silence hangs heavy over the cavern.
If Ted weren’t so tired, so sick and so utterly terrified out of his goddamn mind, he would be laughing —AM, as infinitely omnipotent as the war machine holds himself to be, rendered completely speechless after 109 long, long years.

Summary
He’d assumed that the fallout of this recent escapade would be no different than the rest; that K.O. would just yap his ear off about how disappointed he was in him (like he cared, those rules were stupid and dumb) and give him a halfhearted slap on the wrist before sending him on his merry way, back to fester in his frustrations until his next explosive reappearance.
But clearly, this time is different.

Summary
OK KO angst one shots mainly featuring TKO, KO, or some weird mix of the two.
These stories are not ordered by date of release, as they are varied continuations of one another. Each can be read separately, but the events of “live wires and elastic bands” are heavily referenced in “now i’m in control, now i’m in the fallout,” and the latter work references minor talking points in “point of no return”.
“in the silence that follows” is the first OK KO story I’ve written, so it is largely separate from later releases. But it can be read as a more canon-complaint follow up to “live wires and elastic bands”.

Summary
Douglas Bullet, otherwise known as a Pretty Major Issue, is the ultimate “this is our get-along shirt” for the Seven Warlords of the Sea, who didn’t get the memo and at this rate are probably going to kill each other before they even know what the hell is going on. Also, the world may or may not be at stake here.

Been following for a long time, this story is my lifeblood. Such good prose and storytelling, and I love every moment. Even when it hurts.

Summary
Odium's army conquers Alethkar at frightening speed, and while Kaladin fails to convince his parents to join him in Urithiru, they see the wisdom in sending Oroden back to safety with him. Kaladin then has to spend the next year balancing his military duties with raising a brother young enough to be his own son, made harder by the politics of an Alethkar finally accepting its exile invading his every spare moment.
---
“Odium’s army is going to make it here soon, probably within the week. Our army won’t make it in time. Relis’s force is too far west of here, and Sheler’s is too far north— not that I’d trust that bastard to protect anything other than his own skin, anyway,” Kaladin said.
Lirin’s face was pinched as he walked to the dinner table, and Kaladin joined him.
“Please, come back with me. I couldn’t keep Tien safe,” Kaladin had to swallow around a lump in his throat. “I couldn’t keep Tien safe, but I can still keep you and little Oroden safe.”

Summary
Immediately following the aftermath of Boston, Monarch finds Mothra's egg and establishes a small team to keep watch over it.
Humans aren't the only ones waiting for the Queen's return, though.
(On all fours, Godzilla moved to the center of the island, rumbling faintly. He was low to the ground like that, which made it easy for him to gently press the end of his snout to the egg.)

Story I used to read (and re-read) while walking to school instead of paying attention to the light pole I was about to hit. Years later and this story is still great. 10/10

Summary
Hashtag yearns to connect more with Starscream and she can't stand at how the world doesn't want to give him a second chance. She also wishes he wasn't so hostile towards the world.
Her solution?
To welcome Starscream into the Malto family as a new uncle and shower him with the love and support he needs, even if he doesn't think he needs it.
Too bad for Hashtag, things aren't quite that simple.

Bookmarker's Notes
(Update 2026) I’ve been reading this story since the very beginning and wow does it only get better and better with each update. This is an extremely well written, thoughtful, nuanced, and deep exploration of grief, abuse, imperfect victims, and support systems. I’m not even joking when I say that this is more canon than seasons 2,3 of Earthspark; this is leagues better than the absolute character assassination dealt to Starscream in the show.
The ‘Starscream is functionally immortal’ quirk from the original Transformers show is used here in a genius way to tie together a plot point in Earthspark and in this story, it is used to drive home Starscream’s distrust (and as of ch.25-27–very rightfully so), paranoia, and despair about never being able to escape the cycle of violence that everyone except for him, including his abuser, has been granted.
Beautiful story, 10/10. The Skyfire backstory makes me tear up.
