Summary
When Hinata and Kageyama stumble on some kind of probably ancient, possibly magical relic in the woods behind their school, they don’t think too much of it. That is, until Hinata starts having debilitating back pain and freaky nightmares. Kageyama is sure it must have something to do with their strange discovery. He brings Hinata back there, desperate for a way to get his teammate back to normal. But the boys end up getting way more than they bargained for, and suddenly find themselves in a whole new world they never could have imagined.
Soon joined by the rest of their teammates, a prophecy, an ancient evil, and tests of heart and soul all come together in this story of how each Karasuno boy learns their own way to fly.

“Lloyd?” Kai called out again as he approached. He heard a small movement inside and what sounded like a soft whimper.
“Hey, are you in here?” he asked again as he cautiously opened the door, slightly confused and wondering if maybe Lloyd hadn’t heard him clearly before. “Dinner’s read-“ he stopped mid-sentence when he saw Lloyd sitting curled up on the bathroom floor with his back against the wall and his head between his knees.
——My little interpretation of the immediate aftermath of Lloyd’s age-up. I imagine this takes place in the evening following the events of Lloyd’s age-up episode (S2E5). If you’re looking for some light angst and adorable fluff of Kai being the bestest big brother to Lloyd, then this is the fic for you.

Jean-Centric. Jean Kirstein's father goes to reclaim Wall Maria in Shinganshina, leaving his only child to take over as the man of the house. The idea sticks with Jean all the way up to his training days in the military. He was a jaded, asshole of a teen who took the militant lifestyle to heart and tried to be strong. Even when the training days grew heavy and tiresome, he put on a façade. His bunkmate, Marco Bott, can see right through him though, making his tough guy act harder to keep up. Marco knows just what he needs.
