Summary
Jet’s vision had almost always been a… touchy subject.
Ever since she was young, Jet had pretty bad eyesight. Inherited from her grandmother, her father used to say. She usually relied on the waves and whatever kind of prayer was sent to the Phoenix Witch to help her shoot stuff. Ghoul had joked about it once, just around when the Fabulous Four had first decided they were the Fabulous Four. After that, Jet hadn’t spoken to zim for three days. Needless to say, everyone got the message that they shouldn’t mention it.
Then the clap with the Dracs and Korse happened.
Now she didn’t like to talk about it at all. Ever since the fight in Bat City, Jet had basically tried to make it seem like the eyepatch covering the laser scars didn’t exist. Anytime someone brought it up or asked what had happened, Jet would shut it down immediately. Or deflect. It wasn’t healthy- the rest of the Fabulous Four knew that- but they didn’t want to push.
Well, most of them didn’t want to push.

Summary

Summary
In which Amara doesn't bring back Mary, she brings back John Winchester.
Dean is uncertain what Amara's meaning is when she brings John back, and struggles with coming to terms with the new family dynamic. Sam tries harder to keep the peace than he used to, and Cas does not get along with John at all- though he tries. Testosterone is at an all-time high as these four men struggle to coexist in the hunting world with very different ideologies.
We explore just how much the brothers have changed in the ten years without their father's guidance, the trauma they still haven't resolved, and the feelings that Dean and Cas hold for one another despite the very real and new barrier that is John.
This story begins 12x01 and ends around 13x06

“Dean.” Cas’s voice is soothing through the phone. “You don’t have to explain yourself to me."
Or: instead of just bringing Mary back, Amara brings back a bunch of Dean's family (Charlie and Bobby are his family I will take no arguments on this fact), and chaos and angst ensues

Three shots ring out.
Steve hears them before he feels them; a warm, wet pain burning in his torso, intolerably excruciating.
There’s a bundle of squawks and screams, outbursts of panic and anger, and it’s only when Hopper falls forwards to take Steve up into a slightly rough, protective hold, does he realize that two of those shots have lodged themselves in his own flesh and bone. (Realizes that he’d moved, instinctively, to shield El, despite never having spoken to her, who’d the gun had been so precisely pointed at, aimed for.)
Steve Harrington watches his own blood pool and trickle over a series of hands pressed against him, small and large, soft and rugged, and for a moment, wants to stay like this. He can’t.
